Description
Cazadores Royalty Partners is seeking a motivated and dedicated land professional willing to be a part of the company's ongoing efforts throughout the Permian Basin. We are not a land broker and, athough this is a contract position, we are looking for candidates who want to grow with our rapidly expanding company.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Land Management or Related Discipline or Some College and Relevant Experience
2+ Years Experience in all aspects of land management, including title examination, mineral/royalty ownership analysis, leasehold status evaluation, and all other related aspects
Strong communication skills, the ability to lead and assist others, and the ability to thoroughly follow directions.
Proficient with MS Office Products including Excel, Word and Outlook with the ability to learn other software programs as necessary
Willingness to travel, primarily to the Permian Basin area of Texas
Valid Driver's License
Responsibilities include:
Full & Limited Mineral/Royalty Title Examination
Leasehold Status Evaluation (including HBP Status and Depth Severance Aspects)
Mineral/Royalty Ownership & Leasehold Reports thoroughly completed in a timely manner
Due Diligence & Curative Title Aspects
Lease Contract Negotiation & Lease Administration
Managing/balancing several complex tasks related to a specifically assigned project
Working alongside others as a part of a team striving toward a common project goal
Providing clear and focused written and verbal communication to a project leader on a daily basis
A Strong & Detail-oriented work ethic
Ability to be flexible as well as fully meet the needs required for a project assignment, including travel to various counties in the Permian Basin to conduct title examination
