The Mineral Advisor candidate is responsible for quickly learning the Company’s value proposition, field daily outbound and inbound calls, set up and attend sales presentations, and work assigned leads to effectively close and acquire mineral & royalty properties within designated territories. This is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to utilize and build on their existing experience and education in order to achieve individual and company sales goals and objectives.

Primary Responsibilities / Essential Functions

Essential functions may include the following tasks, knowledge, skills and other characteristics. - Make outbound calls to mineral owners in an effort to generate interest, negotiate, and purchase oil and gas mineral rights
- Maintain pipeline in CRM database
- Achieve weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales objectives
- Quickly learn and be able to effectively communicate the value proposition and brand promise
- Incorporate key talking points in conversations with mineral owners, and be able to address objections to effectively work through negotiations that lead to a close
- Maintain a high call volume on a daily basis
- Manage and nurture long term relationships with mineral owners
- Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual sales reports
- Other duties as required

Work Environment

Work is typicaly accomplished indoors and in air conditioned or well ventilated facilities, and is executed in an office or in a cubicle space equipped with a telephone and computer. Some work may require visits to a customer’s office, home, or field location in a variety of weather and temperature conditions

Education, Licensing, and Certifications- Prefered

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Sales , Business, or related discipline

Experience

Preferred

- Oil & gas experience – in the field leasing and purchasing mineral interest

Required

- 3 – 5 years sales experience with a proven track record of delivering excellent sales results
- Deal flow and pipeline management abilities
- Negotiation Experience
