The Land Manager ensures efficient land operations by implementing various land strategies, overseeing daily land operations, and providing daily supervision, support, and direction to staff. This position also serves as the primary point of contact for land clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manages Land Administration Manager and Title Manager

Coordinates and manages all land work relating to day-to-day operations, including but not limited to negotiating and preparing land agreements (all types) as well as other land and title-related documents

Provides daily leadership and management to landman/ROW teams in the forms of both technical guidance and leadership/professional development opportunities

Relays market information and significant land transactions or any other matters relating to company’s competitors

Prospects and identifies new business opportunities

Collaborates effectively with Project Management and Administration teams and holds shared accountability for the achievement of budgets, timelines, client satisfaction, and project completion

Provides expert, technical guidance in interpreting, negotiating, and preparing all types of land-related and, as needed, survey-related contracts

Provides subject matter expertise on state and federal lease sales process and attends such sales, as applicable

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience

5+ years’ experience in Land Manager or Land Supervisor position

Experience on surface matters regarding infrastructure in oil and gas sector, in both exploration and production (E&P) and midstream strongly preferred

Public utility and eminent domain project experience preferred

Experience with various regulatory agencies in oil and gas sector as well as other government agencies such as federal, state, and Indian land agencies preferred


KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Demonstrated experience in reading/understanding of real estate descriptors

Strong attention to detail

Demonstrated excellence in oral and written communication skills

Strong command of Microsoft Suite
