~Summary~

SilverTip Energy — a partner of SilverBow Resources — is seeking a land manager for their San Antonio office. 

~Position Responsibilities~

• Directly oversees a team of 10-20+ landmen to ensure the success of all land-related activities.

• Must coordinate with another Land Manager, Senior Management, and Operating Partners. 

• Handle and assist with negotiations for oil and gas leases, assignments, farmouts, acreage swaps, and additional related land contracts.

• Manage landmen in their review of mineral and leasehold title review, curative as well as oil and gas leasing.

• Coordinate with operating partners to prepare all necessary contractual documents needed for acquisition.

• Prepare all necessary internal paperwork in a timely manner.

~Expected Level of Proficiency~

• Has upstream oil and gas knowledge and a minimum of 15 years experience.

• Has project management skills; can deliver results in a performance driven and team-oriented environment.

• Is able to work independently as well as with internal and external partners.

• Is detail oriented and able to produce results in time-constrained situations.

• Can adapt to changing business needs and requests.

~Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities~

• Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Petroleum Land Management, Energy Management or related field, Law Degree, or Master of Business Administration.

• Strong acquisition and South Texas experience.

• Experienced and effective negotiator.

• Surface fee / easements / ROW acquisition experience.

• Experience with GIS and DrillingInfo.
