Landman Independent Landman with experience in Weld, Adams, Arapahoe, Larimer, Moffat, and Logan Counties, Colorado and Laramie and Carbon Counties, Wyoming. Performs all duties necessary to complete mineral and leasehold title/ownership from Patent to Present, including State, Federal, and Fee lands as related to oil and gas exploration. • Abstracting/indexing in title office • Pull copies • Grantor/grantee searches at Clerk and Recorder and by utilizing tract indexes • Breakdown complex mineral and leasehold title, including zone separation, WI and ORRI • Create Mineral Ownership and Leasehold Status reports; create abstract reports • Utilize Title/Drilling Opinions for Due Diligence projects • Perform Last Lease of Record checks and create reports • Probate research in District Courts • Check tax and lien status utilizing Clerk and Recorder’s records and Court records • Courthouse research to determine mineral, leasehold and surface title • Meet with land owners to negotiate and obtain lease signatures • Train and supervise new field employees • Positive interaction with county and municipal employees in order to gain needed support on a project • Utilize Deed Plotter software to determine acreage for metes and bounds tracts
