• Coordinated development of ARCO property with numerous endangered species into a major ecosystem preserve with state and federal agencies. Able to sell $1.2 million in preserve interests to third parties to meet endangered species requirements. Also instituted nationally recognized K-12 educational program at the Preserve, with over 8,000 student participants to date.

• Directed oil and gas transactions and staff in the western U.S. oil and gas producing basins. Received federal, state, and local permits to drill wells in sensitive offshore leaseholds, process oil in onshore facilities and ship oil and gas through pipelines.
