• DUE DILIGENCE EXPERIENCE
Pre-Sale - Conducting a detailed review of 400,000+ acres of leasehold in the Texas Permian basin prior to the sale of the properties by Devon Energy to Sumitomo Corp. Assured that all leasehold included on Exhibit A, Properties to be conveyed, would pass rigorous Due Diligence by Sumitomo and thereby prevent $2,000/net mineral acre claw backs. The project was completed in time for sale presentation. Verified that legal descriptions satisfied the Statute of Frauds, were signed by the correct parties and were properly acknowledged and recorded. Reviewed ORs for correct net mineral acres and noted problems that would preclude Marketable title.
