• Planned and executed the daily logistics operations of the largest Troop in the Division.

Battalion Assistant Operations Officer (CPT) April 2002 – May 2003
Fort Hood, Texas
Directly supervised 10 soldiers, responsible for the planning and executing and tracking of all the operations for a M1A2 Tank Battalion.
• Planned and tracked multiple operations in preparation for rapid deployment, including tank gunnery for 56 Main Battle Tanks and battalion and company exercise evaluations resulting in the combat readiness of the battalion.
• Served as Observer Controller for several military exercises, critiquing and mentoring young officers in the science of warfare and leadership, helping them to become more affective leaders.
• Ensured all plans and operations included Mission Essential Task Lists (METL) in order to prepare the battalion for any combat contingency throughout the world.
