William Riales

William "Andy" Riales, Executive MBA in Energy

At the present time, I just completed my Executive MBA in Energy at The University of Oklahoma Price College of Business on October 27, 2017. The Executive MBA in Energy at The University of Oklahoma is ranked as one of the Top Executive MBA in Energy Programs in the world. In addition to that, I was able to study abroad in London, England at BP and EY for one week. At the age of 23, I started my own business, The Caddo Waterworks Corporation and raised up to $7 Million Dollars in a revolving credit facility. After graduating from the University of Arkansas, I started the company with $50.00. Thus, The Caddo Waterworks Corporation was born and produced premium natural spring water from the Ouachita Mountains in Mena, Arkansas. My family still owns all of the assets of The Caddo Waterworks Corporation. From there, I entered the oil and gas business in 2006 and was a contract Landman for Chesapeake Energy Corporation. While working for Chesapeake Energy Corporation, I became one of the best Professional Landmen to work for the Company. Single handedly, I leased thousands of acres for $0.00 an acre and helped make Chesapeake Energy, Inc. $10 Billion dollars on land acquisitions before they ever produced an MCF of natural gas. I went on to work for Southwest Energy, Inc. in Colorado for a little over a year leasing multiple drilling units for natural gas exploration. In addition to that, I worked for XTO Energy, Inc. in Pennsylvania leasing up to 10,000 tracts of land and securing multiple drilling units for the company to produce clean burning natural gas. In 2015, I helped SourceGas save $3.7 Million dollars in potential seed corn crop damage due to pipeline construction. Today, I work for one of the finest and most dynamic energy companies in the United States, Black Hills Energy Corporation. In the Land Rights Department, I would like to help the company flourish around its mission and goals.
